Woolworths Kirrawee | Completed Project

Core Engineering was engaged to undertake fire safety engineering of a brand new Woolworths supermarket in Kirrawee, which has opened at the end of June 2021. The retail centre features a Dan Murphy’s liquor store, a cafe, nail salon and a barber. It was great to deliver another successful project for Woolworths.

We would like to thank our clients for the continued partnership throughout the last financial year. It was exciting to be involved in so many fantastic projects across both NSW and VIC. Over the last year its been great to complete some challenging projects such as Crown Sydney, and to keep up the ongoing work with Land and Housing, TAFE and all our amazing clients. We look forward to the next year.

The proposed development will be 7 levels and built on a sloping site with a central open atrium, the Meadowbank Education and Employment Precinct (SINSW) will cater for 1,000 primary school students, 1,500 secondary school students and a further 120 Intensive English Centre students. We are excited to be a part of such a significant Education project in NSW.

Completion of Crown Sydney

We are excited to have completed a project of such astounding complexity and scope.

At 271 metres, Crown Sydney has become Sydney’s tallest building. Views encompass the whole of Sydney’s magnificent harbour and more, from the Pacific Ocean through the Heads, to the iconic Harbour Bridge and Opera House and further west to the Blue Mountains.

The facilities surpass the five-star classification and include 350 hotel rooms and suites, 80 apartments, retail outlets, restaurants, cafes and bars, pool and spa amenities, and premium gaming opportunities.

At CORE, our resourceful and meticulous approach enabled us to develop well-founded performance solutions in response to the hazards specific to the building’s scale and size. Also noteworthy is the sheer variety of activities which can be expected to occur at any time, and the diversity of occupant demographics; some of these being highly specific to the nature of the VIP gaming facilities and their affluent clientele.
