RISK MANAGEMENT AND GOVERNANCE
As risks can appear at any stage of a project and evolve as a project moves forward, our risk management processes are in place from the award of mandate through to the completion of the project.
The purpose of our management teams involvement is to manage risks until they no longer exist and in cases where a particular risk cannot be eliminated, to minimise the potential negative impact it poses to the project.
Taking into consideration the breadth, complexity and length of a project, we determine whether a formal or informal disciplined process is required to ensure that a project is managed pro-actively rather than reactively. Responsibility for managing risk is further embedded at the highest levels of our organisation, with our reputation being dependent on effective management of risk issues.
We have developed a range of policies, processes, tools and initiatives to support our team in making balanced, informed and transparent risk decisions, and help improve the management of social and environmental risks and opportunities.
