CORE Engineering was engaged by FDC to deliver Fire Engineering services for Ascent on Bourke—Sydney’s most advanced multi-level industrial facility, developed by Charter Hall and located at 520 Gardeners Road, Alexandria.

Our fire strategy supported key aspects of the project’s unique design, including extended travel distances, vehicular access beneath the building, and rationalised fire resistance levels. We worked closely with the project team and Fire and Rescue NSW to develop performance-based solutions that ensured both compliance and functionality.

The result is a state-of-the-art facility that balances complex fire safety requirements with operational performance—setting a new benchmark in industrial development..
