Completed in 2024, CORE provided full fire engineering consulting services through design and construction to assist in the delivery of Australia’s first large-scale mRNA vaccine manufacturing facility.

By delving into the detail and operational needs of the 16,500 square metre facility, CORE developed a fire strategy interwoven with the complex operational needs of a pandemic-ready vaccine manufacturing facility. We developed bespoke assessments for rationalised structural FRLs and extended travel distances, liaising with FRV to achieve endorsement of the fire strategy.
