CORE delivered the fire engineering for the Ormond Road housing development at East Geelong, part of Homes Victoria's Big Housing Build — the state's largest-ever investment in social and affordable housing.

Designed by NH Architecture, the project delivers new low-rise apartments over shared basement infrastructure.

CORE prepared the Fire Safety Engineering Report through to final issue and a Fire Safety Handbook for the completed buildings, developing a fire strategy suited to social housing — straightforward to build, operate and maintain over the long life of a public asset.

The result supports the delivery of much-needed housing to programme, with a compliant, low-maintenance fire safety strategy the operator can rely on.
